Days 49-58

The past 10 days have been a regroup for me. I decided I needed to get more intentional with my training. Every time I go on a long run, the following days I have intense fatigue and exhibit anxiety like symptoms. I was concerned enough to go to the doctor, and am still waiting on some tests to come back and clear things up. I want to keep going, but I need to do it in a healthy way. One thing I am going to focus in on is my heart rate while I train. Up until this point, I have just ran at a pace that felt good enough to sustain, but was not looking at how much effort my heart was expending. I will look to train in specific zones going forward, with the hope this can combat some of that fatigue. With regard to my diet, I have been staying on track and feeling satisfied. However, I will also be making sure on the long run days going forward to be specifically mindful of how I am fueling my body. More updates to come on how this shift impacts how I am feeling, especially as I am entering my luteal phase.
